Kuisel thanked the board for their public service to the community.
Parks & Recreation committee will have a public input meeting Nov. 4th. Local schools and municipalities have been invited and the meeting was publicized.
Dep. Schmidt stated there were 202 calls in the township, including 69 traffic stops and 18 car/deer accidents.
Zoning: 1 pole barn and a porch.
SSESA had 19 runs in the township and 240 so far this year.
S. Michalek moved, second by P. Michalek to approve the financial statement and pay the bills. All ayes
Grinnell reported on a flood plain seminar he attended. There is no land in the township that is in a flood plain.
Parmalee moved, second by Hammond to send a letter to the Nazarene Church asking them to finish the work that was approved for the site plan review of the addition to the church. There needs to be a berm near the Stiff property. Carried
Comm. Pavlica said the County adopted the 2010 budget at $16,426,095. 9 positions have been eliminated. 5 more people retired and their positions were not filled. Co. staff is very accommodating through the budget process. They have a 4-year contract with Sparrow Hospital for a Medical Examiner. He distributed information concerning the Veteran’s Administration. The County has had a lot of P.A. 116 agreements.

The Township has been asked to participate in the Festival of Trees in the City. We will set up the tree Sunday and people will vote on their favorite tree with canned goods for the Food Bank.
The Supervisor presented the tentative 2010 road program. He was asked if he could include brush spraying in the cemetery.
The Alling drain will be cleaned. There is only 9% land in the township.
The board discussed the questions from the City of Perry concerning infrastructure. The consensus was there is not much call for building right now. The Clerk & Treasurer will summarize the answers and bring them back to the board next month.
