S. Michalek moved, second by Hammond to approve the agenda. Carried

Dep. Schmidt reported 225 incidents in the township and 105 were traffic stops. He told residents if they were going on vacation and wanted house checks to contact the Sheriff.
SSESA reported 33 ambulance calls and 15 fire runs in the township in November.
The Whitbeck variance was approved at County Zoning. No DDA report.
Comm. Pavlica reported on the Courthouse renovation. It should be completed soon. The Commissioners had their organizational meeting and committees were named.
S. Michalek moved, second by P. Michalek to approve the financial statement and pay the bills. All ayes
Horvath announced a new grant is available and the County is eligible. It is not contingent on jobs. We need to present a positive appearance.
Parmalee & Hammond will meet and work on the wording of Resolution #08-01-07 concerning infrastructure in the township.
Parmalee moved, second by S. Michalek to appoint Jeff Michalek, Jim Bashore, & Jack Burnam to 2 year board of review terms. All ayes
Grinnell moved, second by P. Michalek to accept with regret the resignation of Sue Hammond from the DDA board. Carried. Parmalee moved, second by Hammond to appoint Dawn Whitbeck to the DDA. Carried.
Attorney Smith reported that Tim DeLau wanted the opportunity to complete the Hinkley school building. When asked about the amount due, he thought the cost was higher than it should be, but would consider a low interest note to the township.
Grinnell explained the road projects for the next year. The Road Commission will visit next meeting for further discussion.
Discussion was held on a possible township park. Rowe engineering has expressed an interest in coming and discussing a recreation plan with the board.
S. Michalek moved, second by P. Michalek to send board of review members, Assessor, & Supervisor to the Board of Review seminar at a cost of $350. All ayes
Feb. 18th was set for the budget work session.
Public comments: Sheffield questioned purchasing land for a township park.
Parmalee moved, second by S. Michalek to go into executive session to discuss pending litigation concerning the tax tribunal meeting. Time 8:17 pm. All ayes
At 9:17 pm the board reconvened. Parmalee moved, second by P Michalek not to proceed further with the appeal on the tribunal matter. All ayes
Parmalee moved, second by Hammond to adjourn. Carried.
