Board: Sid Grinnell, Supervisor; Sandra Michalek, Clerk; Troy Parmalee, Treasurer; Sue Hammond & Peggy Michalek, Trustees

The meeting was opened with the pledge to the flag and all board was present.

Parmalee moved, second by P. Michalek to approve the agenda.  Carried

P. Michalek moved, second by Parmalee to approve the minutes of Feb. 18 with correction that the road projects in the budget would total $142,030.  Carried

Dep. Schmidt reported 221 complaints in the township with 115 being traffic stops.  It was reported a big screen TV was deposited on Church Rd.  Road Comm. will be contacted after the Sheriff’s Dept. investigates.

Comm. Pavlica informed that there had been a Walk for Warmth to help off set heating bills.  County has adopted guidelines for the Veteran’s Adm.; are in the final phase of renovation (Courthouse); and plan a May open house.  There is a grant available for sirens and the deadline is 3-27-09.  Chief Hubbard should be the lead on this and there will be a meeting scheduled.

SSESA:  There were a total of 17 calls for both fire and ambulance runs for January for Perry Township.

DDA: no report; Zoning: received the wind energy amendment to the Zoning ordinance.  County approved the extension of the conditional zoning on the Taylor property.

Michalek moved, second by Hammond to approve the financial statement and pay the bills.  All ayes.  Parmalee said the revenue sharing was increased a little this past year.

Parks: Hammond suggested we take the $10,000 out of the proposed budget for next year.  Budget will be discussed more at the annual meeting and budget hearing.

Tom Emery was concerned with SATA and asked the board to reconsider joining SATA.  The cost would be $5,000 to 6,000 a year.  If we were members the cost would be half the cost for a ride now.

Board of Review will be meeting next week on the 9th and 11th.

P. Michalek volunteered to work on the water agreement committee with Grinnell and meet with Perry City for discussion.

Hammond moved, second by Parmalee to table the MAGNET contribution.  Carried

Grinnell moved, second by Parmalee to reappoint Scott Smith to a 3-year term on the Planning Commission. All ayes.  Parmalee moved, second by Hammond to appoint Walter Saxton to the other 3-year Planning Commission vacancy.  All ayes

Beardslee Rd.:  The Grade All will be used to do the ditches and culverts.

Hammond moved, second by P. Michalek to adjourn.  Carried
