Potter Road, Davison, MI 48423 at 9:00 am. We received a letter that our plan of correction for deficiencies noted in the 2016 AMAR review was accepted by the State Dept of Treasury.

  • ·         We received a letter on June 14, 2017 from SATA stating that because of the reduction in federal funding, effective July 1, 2017, residents of non-participating municipalities will no longer be eligible to receive transportation services. The Township Board feels that the way SATA calculates the contribution is unfair and will be inviting the director to our next meeting to discuss and clarify their request for contribution.
  • ·         We requested bids from Companies that provide sealcoating and crack sealing. Fraser moved; Fulks seconded to approve Kickin’ Asphalt to crack seal and restripe our parking lot in the amount of $1800. Roll Call: Griffith, Schmidt, Parmalee, Fulks, Fraser. All ayes Carried.
  • ·         There has been a request by the Lawn care contractors for us to review the cemetery rules regarding items allowed on the graves (Knick Knacks, Solar Lights, Sheppard’s hooks, etc.) It is becoming hard to weed whip around the graves because of items left and not maintained by the owners that place them. Grass grows up around these items and they fear hitting them with the whipper and destroying the items, thus not allowing them to trim around the headstones. If you have suggestions please contact the Clerk at the Township Hall 625-4597 ext 3. We will be reviewing the rules and making changes.
  • ·         The I-69 representatives appointed for Perry Twp will be Troy Parmalee and Mark Fulks as an alternate. Fraser moved; Griffith seconded. Roll Call: Schmidt, Parmalee, Fulks, Fraser, Griffith. All ayes Carried.

Public Comm: Fraser would like to invite Day Starr to our Sept. meeting to see what their intentions are for service area.

Adjourn: Parmalee moved; Fraser seconded. Carried

Kelly Schmidt, Clerk
